Team Texas, the marketing initiative of the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC)—the statewide professional association dedicated to advancing economic development across Texas—mobilizes communities, regional partners, and utilities to showcase sites, workforce assets, and local incentive opportunities through national trade shows, targeted business prospect meetings, and high-end receptions with C-suite executives, decision makers, and site selection consultants. The Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office (EDT), within the Office of the Governor, is tasked with marketing and promoting the state of Texas as a premier business location and travel destination. EDT works side-by-side with the Texas Economic Development Corporation (TxEDC), a public-private partnership and independently funded and operated 501(c)(3) that promotes Texas through a robust program of activities to highlight Texas’ superior business advantages to corporate decision-makers and site selection consultants.
